The album is called Manners because of the way humans essentially interact and put on this façade and are just kind of more cordial and don’t actually express their emotions, it’s a very American way of life. I think that the whole album is essentially dealing with putting on a front and being someone you’re actually not just so that you can get through the day normally. And a lot of people walk around and they’re feeling so many things but they just don’t express them because you can’t express them in the workplace, you don’t express them at school, you don’t do that. So there are a lot of issues, like passive-aggressive issues that people deal with. And I think that the entire album overall deals with things that are connected to that issue.

If you’re lonely, bored, or unhappy, remember you are young. There is so much time to meet new people and go to new places.
